Instructions “Paint to Music” – a project for young and old
Do you also doodle while you are on the phone? Why not play down the concept of ‘art’ and let your papers and colours flow as you listen to the Sommarmusik-concerts? The child within you feels the music, its rythms, its colours. Colours or just a grey-scale! A drawing done with pencil, graphite? Water colours? Finger colours? Is there someone/something YOU see/hear in the concert which influences and inspires YOU in a special way?
Paint/draw during the concert or soon after. If you have booked a seat in the church, don’t forget to take paper and discreet (silent) pencils with you to the concert!
Use the format A4 or A5. Take a photo of your painting/drawing with your mobile phone, with a digital camera or scan it to you computer in a photo format (jpg or png). Send it to
art@sommarmusik-lundsberg.se
together with your name, address and the title of the concert. We are also happy to receive a short comment, e.g. if a specific piece of music inspired your painting/drawing , how you made it, your choice of colours etc.
When sending us your painting/drawing, you also give us permission to publish it on our home page the day after the concert. The photo of your picture can be received until 22:00 on the day of the concert.
